At 200 less nano skills (give or take) for IP heavy setups, this is the better option as opposed to Pre-nulity anyway.
Generally you run around with AMS up, or at least that is your core defense, the missing 2 reflect AC isn't significant enough to warrant sacrificing versatility in a setup. For example, I can have AR and SMG ip'd together and use a setup that allows for swapping at will, depending on my need.
The trade off is nano skills needed to be trimmed, can still self DB nanos with a few swaps (phulak, hud 3) and using Adaptive Resonance instead of Pre-nullity.
