The only circumstance I can see this being useful in the long run is using it to heal the rest of the team from the occasional AOE nukes while the doc concentrates on the tank.

hehe.. problem is solostron tower gas enforces both hostile nanos and pvp ranges but also for friendly nanos.. thats why you dont see 220 doc's pocket healing a team of lv30's.. and why Hack and Quack is so popular.. (can get it before you enter gas)
umm as far as team heals. they're pretty shitty.. and recharge is'nt so hot either.. however it has it's place.. if everyone is just a little hurt this is the ticket to soften the doc's work load.. or if you have several secondary healers another advy or ma they can help out.. if there is no tank (enf) in the team then you offten have several members dropping at the same time.. do you save 1? or try to help each a little bit.. our heals have to long a rechrage to heal each one of them with singles. it maynot save lives.. but it will extend them.

Team of 4 advies spammed this at towers, we cut down a CT with a 400 dmg shield nobody in the team took damage... ftw :)
Also saved my buddys low HP smurf quite a few times its almost a CH for him lol, He ran out of range for moonbeam this still landed on him.
