Contrary to popular belief, an adv has to work a bit on his nano pool. try to get gph and other ncr stuff as early as possible, cpu upgrade is a must in pvm (at least if you want to solo big bosses selfbuffed). Even with ncr at 50% cap, an adv can run out of nano in extended fights, so work on your ncr :) Another possibility if you're going down in nano in a long fight (e.g. while soloing diamondine trainee): fire up cocoon, go tree and recharge nano, then switch again.
