No taunt because there is no line that says "Taunt =="
The sad part about this nano for SL players is, that with 2400 nano init (needed to cap the speed at full aggro), its still OD'd by Enfraam's Ultimate Destroyer, also a lvl 185 req nano with no taunt. If you could insta-cast this, though, it would be better for kiting single mobs (nuke, run for 3 seconds, repeat).
I wish Funcom would just get rid of the balancing level locks on old nanos that no longer need them.

lol what so level 100 NTs can go around casting a 5K dmg nuke? no thanks 150 more like it but no level lock is bad.

Yeah.. should put a level lock on your gun too. QL200 Superior Perennium weps need to have a 175 lock on them. Level lock the RK doc heals too, trader drains etc. Who needs twinking, AO would be fine without it.
