use it as an opening attack before the target has seen you, helps start you off with a big hit =-)

Totally. Used only on the first cast when the target is unaware of your presence, then switch to a faster nuke to spam. With a Viral Compiler the cast time on this isn't all that bad either, the biggest put off for me is it is often resisted from higher level SL mobs.
