And honestly, why should a profession with dark blue nanoskills get nanos with high nano resistance check...

I'm 210 and I still use this nano over the SL-specific counterpart on many an occasion, and not just PvP. You can land it reasonably well even in Inferno, thanks to that lovely NR check.
